Senior Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include leadership and guidance to support the growth and development of other engineering staff members; provide high-level client maintenance to ensure existing and new clients that the quality of the services delivered are closely examined; and work with executive management, directors, team leaders/ engineering managers to develop and ensure standards are maintained, specifically in the areas of quality assurance and training. Must be able to support company revenue targets by leading or supporting existing projects as assigned and support company sales initiatives as requested by the Director of Engineering.
Serves as Resident Engineer on major construction projects to ensure that projects are built in accordance with plans, special provisions and estimates. Gives engineering advice to assist in solving problems. Analyzes reports, maps, drawings and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydro logical characteristics, and other topographical and geological data to plan and design project. Directs or performs surveys for proposed construction. Estimates costs and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data. Co-ordinates contract work with utility companies and other governmental agencies.
